This project of tracking FAFSA completions in the Land of Sky region came out of both our Pathways to Enrollment through FAFSA Action Team and our Benchmarking through Data/Metrics Action Team. We used the FAFSA Tracker from myFutureNC to obtain data on FAFSA completion rates in the public high schools in our four counties (Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, and Transylvania). We track FAFSA completion rates as a key metric for our strategic direction to improve postsecondary success and our strategic goal of improving postsecondary enrollment success to 65%. Congratulations to Asheville High for the highest FAFSA completion rate in our region!
